Taft associate Michael De Matteis will speak at the International Trade Club, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce’s Virtual Trade Mission to the State of Ohio on Nov. 2. De Matteis will present “Legal Issues for Non-U.S. Companies to Consider when Doing Business in the United States” to Edinburgh-based companies who seek to expand or develop new export markets. 

De Matteis’ practice primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate counseling. He provides clients with business formation counseling, including advising on the type of business entity selection, drafting operating agreements, and preparing shareholder/member agreements. He also counsels clients on corporate governance issues and general contract review.
