DeVore Joins Taft’s Intellectual Property Group
Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher A. DeVore has joined the firm’s Indianapolis office as an associate in its Intellectual Property group. Since April, Taft has added 13 intellectual property attorneys.
DeVore concentrates his practice in the areas of patent preparation, prosecution and analysis, with particular expertise in medical devices, locks and access control devices, door closers and hardware, gas turbine engines, refrigeration systems and other mechanical and electromechanical areas of technology.
Prior to joining Taft, DeVore was an associate at Krieg DeVault LLP. Prior to that he worked as a patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Va. He earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Ohio Northern University, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
