Drummer Quoted in Article on HHC of Marion County’s Diversity Goals
Carl Drummer, senior vice president and co-chair of Taft’s Public Affairs Strategies Group, was quoted in the article “HHC of Marion County Adopts Diversity Goals,” published by Inside Indiana Business on June 22. The article discusses the implementation of the Health and Hospital Corp. of Marion County’s goals and criteria for its bidding projects to improve the use of minority-, women-, disabled-, and veteran-owned businesses.
Drummer serves on the HHC’s Board of Trustees and is quoted saying “Being a leader on diversity in bidding will not only amplify the City of Indianapolis’ efforts to provide equitable opportunities for our neighbors but will also help to strengthen our community’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
