Eaton and Amarilio Contribute Chapter to IICLE Publication
Taft Chicago partners J. Timothy Eaton and Jonathan Amarilio contributed the chapter “Preparing for the Appeal in the Trial Court: Preserving Issues for Review” for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education publication Business and Commercial Litigation 2022 Edition. The handbook is a guide through each stage of a business or commercial case.
Eaton is a senior litigation partner in Taft’s Chicago office, concentrating his practice on appeals, commercial litigation, and arbitration. An active member of local and national bar associations, he is a past president of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, and the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois.
Amarilio serves as co-chair of Taft’s firm-wide Appellate practice group. He represents individuals, small businesses, state and local governments, and Fortune 500 companies before state and federal appellate courts in his civil appellate litigation and critical motion practice. Amarilio serves on several bar associations and charitable boards and is a frequent author and speaker on various topics.
