Evans Joins Litigation Practice Group
Ian Evans has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. Evans will concentrate his practice on commercial litigation involving contract disputes, business torts, shareholder and member disputes, and non-competition agreements.
Previously, Evans served as a summer associate at the firm, a judicial intern for Chief Justice Robert P. Young, Michigan Supreme Court and a law clerk at Mark D. Evans P.C. in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Evans earned a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University (WSU) Law School in Detroit, where he was a member of The Wayne State Law Review and Moot Court, as well as a student attorney for the Transnational Environmental Law Clinic. While at WSU Law School, Evans earned a Silver Key Certificate for academic achievement, as well as a Board of Governors Scholarship. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
