Taft attorney Scot Ganow participated on a cyber security discussion panel as one of four top industry professionals. The panel centered on data incidents, including how to prepare for, identify and recover when an event happens. Scot is the co-chair of Taft’s Privacy and Data Security Practice and a frequent author and public speaker on the issues of data privacy, security, data breach and incident response management and counseling. Scot holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional (“CIPP/US”) certification and has spoken at the Global Summit of the International Association of Privacy Professionals in Washington, D.C., the Privacy + Security Forum, and TEDx Dayton.
