Gary Jungels Joins Taft Business Group
Taft Law is pleased to welcome attorney Gary Jungels to its Chicago office as a partner in the firm’s Business practice group.
With nearly 25 years of experience in business law, Jungels focuses primarily on venture capital, fund formation, and joint ventures. He has represented fund sponsors and their principals in the structuring, negotiating, and closing of both general and industry-specific global and domestic funds, including venture capital, later stage growth equity and buyout funds. He also has extensive experience in private equity funds.
In addition, Jungels advises fund and non-fund sponsors, lead investors, family offices, and co-investors with respect to their fund and/or portfolio investments, including seed stage and growth stage venture financing involving equity, debt, convertible notes, and SAFE instruments.

Jungels received his undergraduate degree with highest honors from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law.
