Heck and Jennings to Speak at the 2024 NKU Cybersecurity Symposium
Taft Dayton attorneys Zachary Heck and Jordan Jennings will be presenting at the 2024 Northern Kentucky University Cybersecurity Symposium on Friday, October 18.

Heck’s practice focuses on privacy and data security. Specifically, Heck assists clients in the areas of privacy compliance, data governance and guidance in the aftermath of an information security event, including data breach. Heck has experience advising clients with respect to FTC investigations, federal privacy regulations such as HIPAA, FCRA, TCPA and GLBA, as well as state laws governing personally identifiable information. For his clients, he also provides regulatory analysis, risk management, policy development, training and audits. Heck speaks and writes regularly on cutting-edge data privacy and cybersecurity issues and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the fields of United States and European Union laws and regulations. Heck also holds the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) accreditation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Jennings is a member of Taft’s Privacy and Data Security and Employment and Labor Relations practice groups. Prior to joining Taft, she was a summer associate at Taft Dayton in 2018 and 2019. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and received her B.S. in broadcast & digital journalism, cum laude, from Syracuse University.
