Helfman Honored as a Notable Woman in Law
Cleveland co-partner-in-charge Jill Friedman Helfman is honored as one of Northeast Ohio’s Notable Women in Law in the May 14 issue of Crain’s Cleveland Business. The thirteen-page feature article, “Rising to the Top: Key female legal executives reflect on challenges, opportunities within the legal profession,” illustrates the issues facing some of the most influential leaders in Northeast Ohio’s law firms and underscores the importance of diversity and inclusion at the highest levels of an organization.
In the article, a colleague commended Helfman for “her conduct that is not only consistent with the highest standards of our profession, but [also] her effectiveness as an advocate.”
Helfman serves as chair of Taft’s Domestic Relations practice. She focuses her practice on family and divorce law, particularly in high net worth cases. She is certified by The Ohio State Bar Association Family Law Specialty Board as a specialist in the field of Family Law in Ohio and as an arbitrator through the AAML Matrimonial Arbitration Training Institute.
