Hodson Re-Appointed to American Board of Certification's Board of Directors
Taft partner Sam Hodson has been re-appointed to the board of directors for the American Board of Certification (ABC) for a second term, in which he will serve a three-year term. ABC is a non-profit Virginia corporation, accredited by the American Bar Association, that also uses the trade name “American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Attorneys.” It is the nation’s premier legal specialty certification organization, certifying attorneys as specialists in business bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law.
Hodson is a partner in Taft’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group and focuses his practice on debt restructuring, refinancing, workouts and turnarounds. He represents troubled companies and the individuals who own and are employed by them. His insolvency work includes representation of debtors, creditors, receivers, unsecured creditors’ committees and trustees in both federal and state courts.
