Taft Chicago Intellectual Property attorneys Roshan Shrestha and Steve Auten contributed the article “J&J Case Raises Estoppel Issue for Successful IPR Litigants” to Law360, which was initially published on April 5. The article discusses a motion pending in the District of New Jersey where a patent owner seeks to prevent the accused infringers from raising at trial the arguments that were successful in a final written decision issued by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in an inter partes review proceeding involving the same parties and patent.
