Jenkins Appointed Midwest Regional Council Chair of Healthcare Businesswomen's Association
Taft partner Staci Jenkins was recently appointed Midwest Regional Council Chair of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association for 2023. Jenkins has been a member of the association since 2015 and has held numerous leadership positions, including Midwest Council Deputy Chair and Ohio Chapter President.
The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association was formed with the purpose of furthering the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare. The HBA’s mission of achieving gender parity in leadership, providing equitable practices to highlight women’s full potential, and facilitating connections to accelerate advancement closely aligns with Taft’s own values. Taft’s Gender Advancement Committee is dedicated to developing, promoting, and advancing women attorneys within Taft, the legal profession, and the community. As the modern law firm, Taft recognizes the historical gender gap in the field of law and is constantly working to increase the number of women in the legal field while also supporting and celebrating those women who are already working in the profession. Gender advancement is more than just an ideal; it is a hallmark of who Taft is as an organization.
