Jessie Salas Appointed to Denver Young Artists Orchestra Board of Directors
Taft, fka Sherman & Howard, public finance attorney Jessie Salas has been appointed to the Denver Young Artists Orchestra (DYAO) Board of Directors. She will support DYAO in its mission to inspire young musicians and audiences to the joy and beauty of symphonic music.
As an associate in the Public Finance and Economic Development group at Taft, Salas provides counsel on a range of public finance transactions, including serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriter’s counsel. Beyond her legal acumen, Salas is a talented, classically trained cellist, holding a Master of Music degree from the University of Wyoming.
Since 1977, DYAO has become Colorado’s premier youth symphony, offering award-winning orchestral programming that fosters a passion for symphonic music, nurtures talented young artists, and strengthens the broader music community.
