Taft partner Lacy Johnson has been appointed to the Indianapolis Foundation Board. With this appointment comes seats on the Central Indiana Community Foundation and The William E. English Foundation Boards. The Indianapolis Foundation Board as a whole facilitates philanthropic efforts throughout Central Indiana. In doing so, board members work with not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and civic leaders to award grants and provide leadership to make Central Indiana a more beautiful, equitable community.

Johnson has led a remarkable career as a preeminent lawyer. President Biden appointed Johnson as an At-Large Member of the Democratic National Committee in 2021. He served on the Biden-Harris transition team, was a member of Vice President Harris’ Midwest Finance team, and is a trusted advisor and supporter of many Congressional leaders and members. Johnson serves and has served in numerous leadership roles for civic, community, and professional organizations.
