Taft partner Ronan Johnson has been elected chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Business Law Section. He has been a member of the Business Law Section’s Executive Committee since 2016 and is a past chair of the Young Lawyer’s Division and former member of the Bar Leader Series Steering Committee.

Johnson represents private equity funds, large multi-national corporations and closely-held and family-owned businesses in complex transactions involving mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations. He also advises growth stage and mature companies in connection with securing debt and equity financing, counsels business clients on general corporate matters and acts as outside general counsel to a number of local companies.
