Johnson to Present at IndyBar CLE Seminar
Taft partner Ronan Johnson will present at the Indianapolis Bar Association seminar titled “Special Considerations in Asset Deals and Corporate Carve-Outs” on Nov. 14. The program will cover key considerations in deciding whether an asset deal suits a transaction, the nuances, obstacles and other matters that frequently arise when doing an asset deal and the additional complexity that corporate carve-outs can entail.
Johnson represents private equity funds, large multi-national corporations and closely-held and family-owned businesses in complex transactions involving mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations. He also advises growth stage and mature companies in connection with securing debt and equity financing, counsels business clients on general corporate matters and acts as outside general counsel to a number of local companies. Johnson serves on the Executive Committee of the IndyBar’s Business Law Section and is a member of the Bar Leader Series Steering Committee.
