Kemp Selected for Ohio State Bar Association's 2025 Leadership Academy

Columbus attorney Lauren Kemp has been selected for the Ohio State Bar Association’s 2025 Leadership Academy, a program designed to nurture and prepare lawyers for effective leadership in the Association, the profession, and their communities.

In addition to networking with lawyers across Ohio, the Leadership Academy offers comprehensive sessions on interacting with diverse speakers, enhancing skills such as branding, writing, and public speaking, and discussing issues such as civility, ethics, and professionalism. Leadership Academy participants also work together on an annual service project.

The Leadership Academy is limited to 24 lawyers who have practiced law for between one and 10 years, and only one participant per firm is allowed.

Kemp represents clients in workers’ compensation, matters of accommodation, discrimination (including charges filed with the EEOC and OCRC), retaliation, subrogation, and wrongful discharge. Kemp also serves as outside counsel to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for complex cases, which allows her to provide unique perspectives and creative solutions to employers in difficult cases.
