Taft Chicago attorney Nicollette Khuans has been recognized by Loyola University Chicago School of Law as the 2022 Moot Court Coach of the Year for her work with its National Moot Court Competition team, which is widely regarded as one of the oldest and most prestigious moot court competitions in the United States. She competed on the team as a third-year law student and has served as a coach for the last six years. As a coach, Khuans has led four teams to victory as regional champions.
Loyola’s moot court program attracts over 200 applicants each year vying for 55 positions, and admission into the program is highly competitive. Loyola fields approximately 20 moot court competition teams. Faculty, alumni, and other members of the bar serve as coaches for the teams.
At Taft, Khuans focuses her practice on commercial litigation in the circuit and federal courts.
