Lee and Herceg Quoted in Indiana Lawyer Article on Indiana Opioid Lawsuits
Taft attorneys Chou-il Lee and Manny Herceg are quoted in the article “Indiana cities, counties sue over opioid epidemic,” published in The Indiana Lawyer on May 2. The article discusses the growing number of cities and counties across Indiana that are suing opioid manufacturers and distributors. Taft is representing numerous cities, towns and counties in Indiana, as well as Ohio and Kentucky, in the lawsuits and is part of a consortium of several law firms engaged in the effort.
Lee is an experienced litigator representing clients on all matters involving litigation and municipal representation. He has worked for multiple Indiana counties, cities and towns in a variety of positions, including serving eight years as corporation counsel for the city of Terre Haute.
