James V. Maniace, senior counsel in Taft’s Columbus office, has been named the 2020 Commercial Instructor of the Year by Columbus REALTORS^®. Maniace also received this recognition in 2014.

Maniace’s practice combines all aspects of business and corporate law with a concentration in the real estate, land use, and oil and gas areas. He oversees a variety of complex business and real estate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring and workouts, financing, and sales and exchanges of real property. He has been practicing law for 40 years, since earning his J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
