McBride to Speak at Criminal Defense Seminar
Taft partner Robert McBride will speak at the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Annual Conference and Criminal Defense Seminar on April 26. His presentation will examine the policy framework for federal prosecution of business organizations and employees, the practical aspects of white collar investigations and prosecutions, and the value of effective compliance programs and internal investigations as mitigation.
McBride is a seasoned trial attorney, experienced in investigating and prosecuting a wide variety of criminal matters. As lead attorney, McBride prosecuted cases involving complex financial frauds, money laundering, federal tax violations, healthcare fraud, national security matters, violations of the Export Control Act, immigration and human trafficking crimes and public corruption.
