McDonald to be Recognized at Dan Beard Council Eagle Court of Honor
Taft Cincinnati partner Rob McDonald will be recognized at The Dan Beard Council Eagle Court of Honor, an annual event that honors local Eagle Scouts and community leaders. As Event Honoree, McDonald will have the privilege to honor Eagle Scouts for their achievements. McDonald will be honored alongside his wife on March 16 at the Cincinnati Masonic Center.
McDonald has been an active leader with Dan Beard Council since joining the Board of Directors in 2010. His time in Scouting was largely spent as part of the Far East Council in Manila, Philippines and in Kobe, Japan, where he earned his Eagle Scout rank. In 2015, Dan Beard Council awarded McDonald the Silver Beaver award largely in part due to his outreach and development efforts.
McDonald is an active member of the community and a steadfast supporter of the Greater Cincinnati arts. He is Immediate Past Chair of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and provided guidance to the organization to ensure their stability and future growth.
A trusted advisor to clients of varying sizes and industries, he counsels growth companies on matters ranging from day-to-day corporate matters to complex mergers and acquisitions, securities, and venture capital work. McDonald currently serves as Chair of Taft’s Cincinnati Business practice group and is Immediate Past President of ACG Cincinnati.
