McDonald is a seasoned commercial insolvency attorney who focuses his practice primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy, Workout, Creditors’ Rights, Distressed Transactions, and Financial Litigation. During his 38 years in practice, he has represented virtually every type of interested party in insolvency-related matters across the country. McDonald is active in many professional associations, such as the Minnesota State Bar Association Bankruptcy Section, the Commercial Receivers Association, the Turnaround Management Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
