Taft partners Russell Menyhart and Evonne Xu presented at a webinar on Jan. 15 titled “Charting US Investment Pathways Amid Sino-US Rivalry: Strategic Planning and Hurdles.” The webinar was co-hosted by Taft and Shihui Partners.

Menyhart leads Taft’s International Trade practice and focuses a substantial part of his practice on compliance with U.S. national security laws (including CFIUS) and international trade laws, including export controls (EAR and ITAR), OFAC sanctions, and customs compliance.

Xu counsels clients across the world on corporate matters of all sizes, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances, finance, and stock acquisitions and sales. Fluent in English and Chinese, she assists Chinese companies operating throughout the United States and U.S. companies conducting business throughout China.
