Metzel is a partner in Taft’s Litigation group and a 1991 graduate of Franklin College. She is an experienced litigator focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation. She represents both corporate and individual clients in federal and state courts and before local and state administrative bodies and agencies. Metzel is active in the community and has held various leadership roles with the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations. Most recently, she served as president of the Indiana State Bar Association from 2017-2018 and is also the board chair of Girls Inc.
