Meyer and Snead Accepted Into ArtsWave's BOARDway Bound Program
Taft attorneys Michael L. Meyer and Jennifer M. Snead have been accepted into ArtsWave's BOARDway Bound program. This professional development program provides all the tools necessary to become a successful board leader within the arts and includes a blend of directed learning and classroom interaction led by a cross-section of arts leaders.
Meyer is an associate in the firm's Litigation, Construction and Construction Claims groups. He has significant litigation experience in cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets and violations of non-compete/non-solicitation agreements. He also has experience litigating construction contract disputes and construction defect claims. Meyer’s practice also includes insurance coverage litigation, representing both insurers and insureds, and the defense of bad faith claims against insurance carriers, as well as premises and products liability personal injury matters in a variety of commercial and industrial settings.
Snead is an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment group. She focuses her practice on U.S. immigration law. Her experience includes advising clients on a variety of immigration matters in an array of industries, including temporary visas, permanent residence and U.S. citizenship. Snead has participated in panel presentations for immigration practitioners and has led U.S. immigration presentations at business conferences and universities.
