Taft attorneys Adam Miller and Devin Spencer will present “Top 10 Tips to Negotiate More Effectively” at the BASA/OASBO Team Collaboration: Finance, Facilities, & Safety Conference on Feb. 19-20.  

Miller has over 25 years of experience in the K-12 education labor sector and assists school district leaders in a host of legal matters, including labor contract negotiations, student legal issues, administrative contracts, Board of Education policies and governance, arbitrations, and education sector litigation. He has successfully negotiated in every type of bargaining scenario and has worked with school districts as large as 20,000 ADM and as small as 400. A current Ohio State Representative, Miller is a former school board member and superintendent.

Spencer focuses her practice on company, school district and employer liability under state and federal laws, including the ADA, FMLA, FLSA and Title VII. She regularly handles compliance issues, including job descriptions and applications, employment contracts, non-competition agreements, and release and separation agreements.
