Morgan to Present US Supreme Court Update at Municipal Law Seminar
Taft attorney Donnie Morgan will be a speaker at the Municipal Law Seminar XXXIX on June 24, 2022. His presentation will include a review of important U.S. Supreme Court cases during the Court’s October 2021 term. The conference is hosted by Aim and the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association and is designed to keep local government attorneys informed of important legislative and case-law changes.
Morgan is a member of Taft’s appellate practice and public law team. He has extensive experience advising elected officials and practicing at all levels of the federal and Indiana judicial systems, including work on appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court and the Indiana Supreme Court. He serves on the board of governors for the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association’s board of directors, and the Section 1983 subcommittee of the Seventh Circuit’s Committee on Pattern Civil Jury Instructions. Prior to joining Taft, he served as corporation counsel and chief litigation counsel for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County.
