Mottley to Speak at Ohio Business Tax Seminar
Taft of counsel Don Mottley will serve as a speaker and co-presenter at the 2023 Ohio Business Tax Seminar, held on May 17, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Mottley will first touch on changes within the Ohio Department of Taxation in “Ohio Legislative and Regulatory Update” at 12 p.m. This session will also highlight insights on the Ohio Budget Process for 2024-2025. Mottley will later co-present, “Ohio Municipal Income Tax and Remote Workforce,” and will discuss major development in Ohio’s Municipal Income Tax System, including work-from-home withholding requirements, best practices, and municipal tax issues.
The goal of the seminar is to provide up-to-date information on rapidly-changing business taxes, including Ohio legislative and regulatory updates on business taxes, Ohio sales and use tax exemptions, and much more. Taft will also sponsor the conference’s afternoon refreshment break.
