In addition to being an engaged member of Taft through mentoring new associates and serving in the Women of Taft affinity group, Muething is equally committed to serving her community. As an associate, she was elected to the Cincinnati Leadership Class by the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Since then, she has assumed leadership roles within a variety of prominent non-profit organizations, including the Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio (PBPO) and Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Muething is especially passionate about her work with PBPO, an organization that recruits, connects, and supports attorney volunteers to donate their time and expertise on behalf of nonprofit clients, amplifying their ability to make a positive impact in the community.
Muething advises private companies on a wide range of matters, including equity and debt financings, securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and business formation and organization. She also counsels institutional investors on acquisitions, dispositions, fund formation and organization, strategic transactions, and private placements.
