NABL The Workshop 2023: The Role of Issuer’s Counsel in a Bond Transaction

Parker Schenken was a panelist on the discussion “The Role of Issuer’s Counsel in a Bond Transaction” at the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) The Workshop 2023. The Workshop is an event where attendees engage in thought-provoking discussions and panelists share high-level knowledge of legal frameworks, regulatory updates, best practices, and innovative strategies shaping the bond market.
Schenken was joined on the panel by Everett Martinez, general counsel/EVP at the Denver International Airport; Erin Law, chief counsel for Public Finance for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer for the Government of the District of Columbia; and Sharone Levy, counsel at Nixon Peabody LLP in Project and Public Finance. The panel discussed the role of issuer’s counsel in bond transactions, with a focus on the perspective of the in-house issuer’s counsel.
