Patel Selected for 2024 FDCC National Ladder Down Program
Taft Cleveland associate Devina Patel has been selected to join the 2024 FDCC (Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel) National Ladder Down Program. Ladder Down is a year-long program dedicated to leadership empowerment, business development, and mentoring – each of which is critical for women lawyers to better position themselves for success.
Patel is an associate in Taft’s Cleveland office and focuses her practice on all aspects of commercial litigation. Prior to joining Taft, she worked as a criminal justice clinic investigative intern at Georgetown University Law Center investigating and preparing evidentiary reports and conducting trial preparation activities. She was also the founder and President of Cleveland Liberty Expressions, a group designed to promote literacy, community support, and introspective learning for juveniles and young adults in the Cuyahoga County Detention Center.
