Pleshivoy to Serve as Chicago Chapter President and Rothman Fellow for the American Technion Society
Taft Chicago partner Julie Pleshivoy was elected to serve as the incoming president of the American Technion Society for the Chicago chapter. The American Technion Society (ATS) supports the advancement of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology as a trailblazer in science and technology education.
Pleshivoy has also been named a Rothman Fellow for the American Technion Society Leadership Program. Rothman Fellows are accomplished leaders from various backgrounds, including but not limited to tech, finance, real estate, law, and entrepreneurship, and serve as ambassadors for the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Pleshivoy counsels individuals, families, business owners, and financial institutions on estate planning, wealth transfer, and tax matters. She assists clients in developing and implementing their estate plans to address issues relating to estate and gift tax, wealth transfer, and asset protection. Pleshivoy also has significant experience with estate and trust administration, post-mortem planning and tax return preparation, charitable and retirement planning, and estate and trust litigation.
