Roper Joins Godman Guild Board of Trustees
Taft Columbus attorney David Roper was elected to join the Board of Trustees for the Godman Guild, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in central Ohio. His leadership, expertise, and dedication to community service will play a vital role in advancing the Guild’s mission, creating more opportunities for those they serve. The Board of Trustees provides essential policy direction, programmatic, and financial oversight while acting as steadfast advocates for the Guild’s work in the community.

He has been a key team member in cases resulting in multimillion-dollar judgments, authored successful briefs for multiple appellate courts, and has presented oral arguments at an intermediate appellate court. Roper’s advocacy skills are further shaped by his clerkships with the Hon. Raymond A. Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Hon. Rachel S. Bloomekatz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
