Roudebush and Kemp to Speak at Dayton Bar Association Workers' Comp/Social Security Meeting
Taft attorneys Sue Roudebush and Lauren Kemp will speak at the Dayton Bar Association’s Workers’ Comp/Social Security May Section Meeting: The Confusion in Eligibility for Temporary Total Disability Benefits Continues, on May 4. Roudebush and Kemp will discuss workers’ compensation updates with a primary focus on the recent codification of temporary total disability benefits. The enactment of R.C. 4123.56(F) has created chaos for both employers and injured workers. In this presentation, Roudebush and Kemp will analyze the legislation and its impact on voluntary abandonment.

Roudebush focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and OSHA law and procedure and represents self-insured and state-funded employers during all stages of their workers’ compensation matters. Roudebush previously worked as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General in the Workers’ Compensation Section and regularly writes and presents on workers’ compensation and OSHA topics.
Kemp represents clients in workers’ compensation, matters of accommodation, discrimination (including charges filed with the EEOC and OCRC), retaliation, subrogation, and wrongful discharge. Kemp also serves as outside counsel to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for complex cases, which allows her to provide unique perspectives and creative solutions to employers in difficult cases.
