Michigan Lawyers Weekly recently named firm partner Sam Schiffer as one of Michigan’s Go To Lawyers for Real Estate and Condo Law. Mark Cooper made the announcement.

“Sam has been an integral part of the team for more than 10 years, bringing a high level of sophistication to our legal services and offering innovative strategies and solutions for our clients across the country,” Cooper said. “A leader at our firm and within his practice area, he has rightfully earned this recognition and we are proud to celebrate his achievement.”

The Go To Lawyers program honors Michigan’s leading lawyers in various practice areas. This honor is given to 20 outstanding lawyers, recognized by their peers for their expertise, experience and record of success. Honorees are knowledgeable in the nuances of the case law, statutes and regulations clients will encounter.

Schiffer represents a variety of real estate owners, investors, operators and users. He practices in all areas of real estate, including commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, financings and development projects, with a focus on the areas of commercial, retail and hospitality among others.

Schiffer graduated with honors from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
