Taft attorneys Philip Schenkenberg and Zenus Franklin authored the article “Don’t Say ‘Breach’,” which was published in the Cybersecurity Summit newsletter on Feb. 9. The article explains why organizations should adopt the word “incident” until legal counsel officially deems something a “breach.” This allows for effective and accurate communication while avoiding legal pitfalls.
