Schenkenberg Named as a Sal & Francesca LoBaido Award Recipient
The Star of Boreas Foundation and the Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation (SPFHF) will recognize Taft Minneapolis partner Phil Schenkenberg as a 2024 Sal & Francesca LoBaido Award recipient at a reception on Sept. 5. Schenkenberg was selected based on his long-term commitment and support of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival and the greater community.
The SPFHF, a non-profit membership organization, is the producer of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. The festival was started in 1886 and is the oldest winter festival in the United States. The Star of Boreas Foundation has been recognizing individual and businesses with the LoBaido awards since 1987.
Schenkenberg served as the attorney for the Saint Paul Winter Carnival for more than 23 years. In this volunteer role, he gave hundreds of hours of his time and advised the Board chairs on areas of legal concern. Taft of counsel Adam Niblick will now transition into this role.
Schenkenberg concentrates his litigation practice at Taft on fiduciary and wealth transfer disputes, disputes arising out of closely held businesses, and complicated matters involving telecommunications and technology.
