Sherman & Howard Serves as Legal Counsel for Convergence Controls & Engineering Acquisition

Sherman & Howard’s Corporate & Transactional group provided key legal counsel to its client Convergence Controls & Engineering (CCE) in its acquisition by consulting and engineering firm Tetra Tech. The Sherman & Howard deal team for this matter was Jackie Benson and colleagues Lyle Wallace, Isaac Lodico, Alex Thomas, Elizabeth Farschon, and Spencer Pedemonte.

Through this new partnership with Tetra Tech, CCE can broaden its customer base and tap into new end markets.  CCE was eager to capitalize on the benefits from the merger, which meant the Sherman & Howard team’s responsive and efficient counsel was a benefit for all parties.

“We were given a tight timeframe to work together quickly and effectively to deliver the right results for Convergence,” said Benson. “Well-prepared and focused, our team collaborated and helped give the client a valuable opportunity for growth.”

CCE is a leader in industrial and commercial automated control systems in markets including oil and gas, power generation, mining, manufacturing, water, education, health, science, and technology. Through innovative and cost-effective solutions, CCE gives its customers peace of mind knowing their assets will be fully integrated and operate better than expected.

Sherman & Howard’s Corporate & Transactional practice group guides businesses at every stage of their development, ranging from initial entity selection, formation, and financing to addressing daily operational challenges, executing business deals, and handling securities and franchise issues, all aimed at fostering client growth and helping them achieve their goals.
