Shuster Featured in Indiana Lawyer Article
Taft partner Elizabeth A. Shuster was featured in The Indiana Lawyer article “Women IP attorneys launch central Indiana chapter of ChIPS, one of first in Midwest” for her involvement in the launch of a local chapter of the national organization ChIPs ("Chiefs in Intellectual Property"). The mission of the group is to connect and advance women working in technical legal fields.
Shuster is a member of Taft’s Intellectual Property group and is a registered patent attorney. She has substantial experience in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, consultation with clients to avoid patent infringement, preparation of patent invalidity and non-infringement opinions, intellectual property due diligence and strategic counseling. Shuster is the former chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Indiana State Bar Association. She is also the co-founder of the Indy Attorneys Network Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association, which promotes collegiality between attorneys.
