Sonya Jindal, an associate in Taft’s Tax practice group, was part of a team of attorneys that submitted comments on behalf of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service on June 15 on proposed regulations under the foreign account tax compliance offset provisions of the HIRE Act relating to insurance issues, companies, and products.
