Sorrell Named to Dayton Business Journal 2022 Forty Under 40 Class
Taft Dayton attorney Shawna Sorrell has been named a Dayton Business Journal (DBJ) Forty Under 40 recipient for the class of 2022.
This marks the 25th year the DBJ has honored the region’s brightest young professionals. More than 200 people from around the Miami Valley were nominated this year.

Sorrell is an attorney in Taft’s Labor and Employment practice group and advises clients on all aspects of labor and employment law, including hiring and termination, employment agreements, personnel policies, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour issues, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and workers’ compensation. She also serves on the associate boards for Big Brothers Big Sisters and For Love of Children.
