Sorrell Receives Rising Star Recognition in Dayton Bar Association’s Bar Briefs Profile
Taft attorney Shawna Sorrell has been recognized by the Dayton Bar Association as a “Rising Star of the Bar” in a profile published in the December 2020 issue of Dayton Bar Briefs. The article highlights Sorrell’s esteemed accomplishments and community contributions and was authored by Zachary Heck, fellow Taft attorney and member of the DBA Editorial Board.
Sorrell is an attorney in Taft’s Labor and Employment practice group and advises clients on all aspects of labor and employment law, including hiring and termination, employment agreements, personnel policies, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour issues, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and workers’ compensation. She also serves on the associate boards for Big Brothers Big Sisters and For Love of Children.
