Stephen M. Nechemias was selected as the 2013 inductee to the prestigious Ohio Tax Hall of Fame on Tuesday, January 29 at the 22nd Annual Ohio Tax Conference in Columbus, Ohio. The award was presented by Ohio Tax Commissioner Joe Testa in front of 650 attendees of the conference. The Department of Taxation, in partnership with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, selected Nechemias due to his significant contributions to the state and local tax arena over the last 40+ years.
 
In addition, Nechemias was presented with the first-ever Distinguished Speakers Award by the Manufacturers’ Education Council for his long-standing participation in the association’s events over the past two decades.
