Sumner to Speak at GovCon M&A Discussion
Taft partner Suzanne Sumner will speak on the panel discussion, “Today’s Market for Buying & Selling GovCon Companies,” on Sept. 22, from 2-4:30 p.m. The panel will cover a variety of topics, including trends in government contracting for small to mid-sized businesses; the impact of set-aside and prime vs. sub work on transfer value; pressures affecting cash at close offers and deal structuring; and other regulatory and legal issues.

Sumner is a partner in the Taft Dayton office and co-chair of the Government Contracts Practice Group. She focuses her practice on government contracts law, and works closely with prime contractors and subcontractors on a variety of issues. In addition to providing advice on issues pertaining to multi-million and multi-billion dollar government contracts, she serves on several boards and recently served as an Honorary Commander for the 445th Airlift Wing at WPAFB. Sumner has also been recognized on the Dayton Business Journal’s Influencers Law list and the Dayton BizWomen Power 50 list.
