Suter and Kemp To Speak at ASSP Meeting
Columbus senior counsel Douglas Suter and Columbus associate Lauren Kemp will present at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Central Ohio Chapter meeting on June 18 from 9-10 a.m. EST.
Douglas will discuss Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) updates and best practices. Lauren will present workers’ compensation updates.

Douglas is a specialist on OSHA, workplace safety, and liability matters.
He has lectured and written about OSHA matters for numerous trade associations and safety councils as well as The Ohio State University, Marshall University, the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Ohio Division of Safety and Hygiene, the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, the Ohio State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Institute, the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, the National Business Institute, The County Engineers Association of Ohio, The American Gas Association, Ohio Rural Electric Cooperative.
Lauren is in the Employment and Labor Relations practice group, with a focus on workers’ compensation. She represents self-insured and state-funded employers during all stages of their workers’ compensation matters, including claims investigation and management, administrative hearings, litigation, appeals on mandamus before the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio, and settlement.
