Bautista Appointed to Great Lakes Science Center Board of Directors
Taft Cleveland partner Phil Bautista will serve on the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Great Lakes Science Center is one of the top ten museums in the nation as celebrated by the 2025 USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice travel award for Best Science Museum. The Science Center makes science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) come alive for more than 300,000 visitors a year through hundreds of hands-on exhibits, temporary exhibitions, the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater, historic Steamship William G. Mather, daily science demonstrations, seasonal camps and more.
Bautista is a partner in Taft’s Intellectual Property and Litigation Practice groups and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He is a trial lawyer who has extensive first-chair litigation and trial experience. Having a background in science, Bautista has litigated numerous cases throughout the United States involving trademarks, patents, copyrights and trade secrets.
