Taft Acts as Legal Counsel to Hoosier Solar for Solar Permit Approvals in Starke County
Taft client Advantage Capital Renewables has achieved final local approvals for Hoosier Solar developments of two utility-scale solar projects in Starke County, Indiana, with a combined $650 million in planned capital investment.
The Starke County Council approved two Economic Development Agreements, bringing more than $1 million in economic benefits to the County annually. Once online, the projects expect to produce a combined 410 Megawatts of rated capacity directly to the grid.
The approvals are the culmination of over three years of intense negotiations and economic development efforts. The Taft Indiana solar development team included Andi Metzel, Nathan Hagerman, Adam Law, Azra Naqvi, Nicole Zawada, Anabel Abarca, and Mitch Svoboda.
