Taft Acts as Legal Counsel to Strength Capital Partners and Western States Reclamation in Acquisition of Naranjo Civil Constructors
Taft is pleased to have acted as legal counsel to Strength Capital Partners (Strength) and its portfolio company, Western States Reclamation LLC (WSR), in connection with the acquisition of Naranjo Civil Constructors (Naranjo). The two entities along with WSR subsidiary Ecological Resource Consultants (ERC) will operate as a newly formed entity named Western States Water and the three entities will operate under the legacy business names.
WSR is a leading provider of environmental reclamation and specialty civil contracting services focused on the preservation and protection of water resources.. Naranjo is a specialty civil contracting company focused on natural waterways, urban drainage, recreational environments, and related utilities and infrastructure projects in Colorado. Strength is a private equity firm that specializes in acquiring or providing late-stage growth capital to businesses located throughout the United States, with areas of interest in the consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, industrial, financial services, energy, transportation, and infrastructure sectors.
