Taft Adds Pharma and Litigation Attorneys in Chicago
Taft is pleased to announce that Luke T. Shannon and Gabrielle Ganze have joined the Chicago office in the Intellectual Property and Litigation practice groups, respectively.
Shannon is of counsel in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Litigation group and focuses on patent infringement suits arising under the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and other disputes involving pharmaceutical and life sciences and other intellectual property issues. He also advises clients regarding post-grant procedures, including inter partes review proceedings, and has experience preparing Paragraph IV notice letters, as well as non-infringement and invalidity opinions.
An associate in the Privacy and Data Security and Litigation Practice groups, Ganze has extensive experience researching and preparing judicial opinion drafts on numerous topics, including claims under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. Before joining Taft, she was a judicial law clerk for the Hon. James E. Shadid, United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
